These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Zorywire, including the website at zorywire.com, our public pages, article pages, feeds, RSS, search, and any other public online service that links to these Terms (together, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site.

1. About Zorywire

Zorywire is an English-language online news and editorial website.

The operator and legal contact details for the Site are listed in our Legal Notice.

At this stage, the Site does not provide paid reader services, reader accounts, public comments, public posting tools, newsletters, subscriptions, or user-generated content features.

Admin, editor, staging, infrastructure, and other non-public areas of the Site are restricted. These Terms do not give you any right to access those areas.

3. Use of the Site

You must not use the Site in a way that harms, disrupts, overloads, damages, disables, or interferes with the Site, our systems, our security, our editorial operations, or any other user’s access to the Site.

Zorywire publishes news, analysis, opinion, explainers, and other editorial content.

Content on the Site is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, security, or other professional advice.

Any use beyond this requires our prior written permission unless it is clearly allowed by applicable law.

8. Restricted use of content

Except where allowed by applicable law or by our prior written permission, you must not:

• copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, license, syndicate, or commercially exploit Site content;
• create a competing archive, database, feed, monitoring product, alerting product, or media-intelligence product from Site content;

• use Zorywire content in a way that falsely suggests partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, approval, authorship, or affiliation;

• use Site content for automated text and data mining, automated extraction, dataset creation, indexing beyond ordinary public search indexing, commercial monitoring, or similar automated analysis without our prior written permission;
• use the Site in a way that violates intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, contractual, or other rights.

All rights for text and data mining, automated extraction, automated analysis, dataset creation, and similar uses are expressly reserved to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Automated access, crawlers, and RSS

Legitimate public search engines may index publicly available pages where they comply with our robots.txt, technical instructions, rate limits, and applicable law.

The public RSS feed is provided for ordinary reader convenience. RSS access does not grant permission to republish, syndicate, sell, scrape, bulk-download, archive, or commercially exploit Zorywire content.

We may block, restrict, throttle, or suspend automated access where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, disregards technical instructions, creates operational load, creates legal risk, or harms the Site.

10. Third-party sources and links

Our content may refer to, quote, cite, summarise, or link to third-party sources.

Third-party content remains the responsibility of its own publisher, author, operator, or rights holder. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, editorial choices, products, services, or content.

A link does not mean that Zorywire endorses the linked website, source, product, service, organisation, or person.

11. Communications and material sent to us

The Site does not currently allow public comments or public posting of user-generated content.

If you send us tips, correction requests, documents, images, recordings, emails, messages, or other material, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to send it to us and that doing so does not violate any law, court order, confidentiality obligation, intellectual property right, privacy right, contractual duty, or other third-party right.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, material sent to us is not treated as confidential.

By sending material to us, you grant Zorywire a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to receive, review, store, verify, edit, quote, summarise, publish, archive, and otherwise use that material for editorial, legal, compliance, security, operational, and record-keeping purposes.

This licence does not transfer ownership of your material to us.

We may decide not to use, publish, retain, investigate, or respond to any material sent to us.

Do not send us sensitive personal data, confidential documents, legally privileged material, trade secrets, classified information, or material that may put you or another person at risk unless we have specifically agreed a secure process with you.

12. Acceptable use

You must not:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• access or attempt to access any non-public area without authorisation;
• bypass, disable, interfere with, or test security, authentication, access controls, preview gates, rate limits, robots controls, or technical restrictions;
• probe, scan, attack, overload, or disrupt the Site or related systems;
• introduce malware, spyware, harmful code, automated abuse, denial-of-service traffic, or deceptive requests;
• impersonate Zorywire, our staff, our authors, our sources, another organisation, or another person;
• collect personal data from the Site except where clearly allowed by law;
• use the Site to infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
• misrepresent Zorywire content or attribution;
• use the Site for fraud, phishing, spam, harassment, abuse, unlawful surveillance, or other harmful activity;
• encourage, assist, or enable anyone else to do any of the above.

We may restrict, block, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where access may create legal, editorial, security, operational, or reputational risk.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies and similar technologies should be controlled through our cookie consent tools or settings.

These Terms do not replace your privacy rights or cookie choices.

14. No paid reader services at this stage

At this stage, the Site does not offer paid reader subscriptions, paid reader accounts, paid newsletters, paid article access, or other paid reader services.

If paid services are introduced in the future, additional terms may apply, including payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, and consumer rights terms where required.

15. Availability and changes to the Site

We may change, suspend, withdraw, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every device or browser, or available in every country.

We may change article URLs, feeds, metadata, layouts, search behaviour, sections, tags, archives, public API behaviour, and other Site features where needed for editorial, technical, legal, security, or operational reasons.

16. No warranties

The Site and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, conditions, and guarantees, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and satisfactory quality.

Nothing in these Terms affects rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zorywire will not be liable for:

• reliance on Site content;
• errors, omissions, delays, corrections, removals, or outdated information;
• third-party websites, sources, products, services, or content;
• loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, data, or anticipated savings;
• indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss;
• service interruption, technical failure, security incidents, unauthorised access, malware, or harmful code;
• automated access being blocked, limited, interrupted, or restricted;
• changes to Site availability, layout, search, feeds, URLs, metadata, or features.

If Zorywire is liable to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms, our total aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of:

• the amount you paid to Zorywire for use of the Site in the 12 months before the claim; or
• USD 100.

This limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Business and commercial use

If you use the Site for business, commercial, professional, automated, monitoring, syndication, scraping, data extraction, media-intelligence, or other non-personal purposes, you are responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful and authorised.

You agree to indemnify Zorywire against losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, your unauthorised use of Site content, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

This clause does not apply to consumers where applicable law does not allow it.

19. Legal complaints and rights notices

If you believe that content on the Site infringes your rights or is unlawful, use the contact details in our Legal Notice and include:

• the URL of the relevant content;
• the right or law you believe is affected;
• a clear explanation of the issue;
• any supporting evidence;
