About 86,040 Kitchen HQ thermal insulated bowls sold through HSN are under recall because metal springs in the lids can catch fire in microwaves. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission lists SKNs 817800, 884907 and 900600; HSN is offering full or partial refunds.

HSN has recalled about 86,040 Kitchen HQ thermal insulated bowls because metal springs in their detachable hinged lids can catch fire when the bowls are used in a microwave. Consumers should stop using the bowls immediately and check whether their product number is one of the affected SKNs.
The recall covers Kitchen HQ Thermal Insulated Bowls with Detachable Hinged Lids, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The bowls were sold in multiple colors and have a metal interior, a plastic exterior and “KITCHEN HQ” on the front.
The notice identifies the affected products by SKN product number. It does not list UPCs, lot codes or a separate color-by-color list.
The CPSC tied the hazard to the detachable hinged lid. The agency’s notice says metal springs in the lid can catch fire when used in the microwave, creating a fire hazard.
HSN has received 30 reports that the bowls smoked, sparked, melted or caught fire when microwaved. One of those incidents resulted in a fire that caused property damage, according to the notice. The notice did not identify injuries.
The affected bowls were sold through HSN’s website, televised shows and digital shopping platforms from July 2023 through February 2026. Prices ranged from $20 to $60.
HSN Inc. of West Chester, Pennsylvania, is listed as the importer. The bowls were manufactured in India, according to the recall notice.
Consumers should stop using the recalled bowls immediately and contact HSN. The CPSC notice says HSN is offering a full refund for a complete bowl-and-lid set.
A partial refund is available for consumers who want to keep the insulated bowls without the lid. HSN’s product-safety page also lists Kitchen HQ Thermal Insulated Bowls among its recent recalls.
HSN can be reached toll-free at 888-520-2197 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or by email at thermalbowls@realtimeresults.net. The CPSC notice also directs consumers to HSN’s recall information and thermal bowls recall portal.
Have the SKN product number, purchase information and the bowl-and-lid set available if possible. The recalled items are tied to specific Kitchen HQ bowl configurations, so owners should not rely only on color or size if they can confirm the SKN.
The CPSC recall number is 26-537. That number can help distinguish this recall from other kitchen-product recalls if a consumer is searching an agency or retailer recall page.

Merkury Innovations recalled about 18,000 Hot + Cool Heating and Cooling Fans because they can overheat and pose a fire hazard. Owners should stop using the fan, check the model label and register with Merkury for a refund.

Kidisle KC101B hot and iced coffee makers are being recalled because they can release hot liquid or steam unexpectedly. Owners should stop using the machines and follow CPSC-listed refund steps.

Recall notices can be updated if the agency or company changes remedy instructions, adds incident information or posts new contact details. For now, the confirmed action is to stop using the recalled bowls and contact HSN for the refund option that applies to the product set.
Anyone reviewing the recall later should check the CPSC recall notice or HSN’s recall information before filing a claim, because refund instructions and incident counts can change.

The CPSC announced recalls of Michley children’s pajamas sold through SHEIN and Veseacky pajama sets sold on Amazon because the sleepwear violates flammability standards. Consumers should stop using the recalled pajamas, destroy them as directed and contact the seller for a refund.
