The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in overtime in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final, tying the best-of-seven series 1-1. Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, at 8 p.m. ET at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on ABC, according to NHL.com.
Seth Jarvis scored on a power play 3:56 into overtime to give Carolina the win at Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Hurricanes had trailed 2-0 before scoring three times in the third period.
Logan Stankoven, Mark Jankowski and Jordan Staal scored for Carolina during the comeback. Mark Stone tied the game for Vegas with 1:21 left in regulation, sending it to overtime before Jarvis ended it.
Brett Howden scored twice for the Golden Knights, who had taken Game 1 by a 5-4 score.
The Stanley Cup Final is tied 1-1 after two games.
The series now moves to Las Vegas for Games 3 and 4. Because each team has one win, the Final will return to Raleigh for Game 5 next week.
