Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’, 7-Eleven, Shipley Do-Nuts and Duck Donuts are among the chains with National Donut Day offers on Friday, June 5. Many deals require a purchase, rewards membership or participating location.

National Donut Day is today, Friday, June 5, and several U.S. chains are offering free donuts or discounts. Krispy Kreme has a no-purchase free doughnut offer, while Dunkin’, Shipley Do-Nuts, 7-Eleven and other chains have purchase, rewards or participating-location conditions.
Krispy Kreme: Guests can get one free doughnut of their choice on June 5 with no purchase necessary, the company said in a release. The offer is available in shop and at the drive-thru, limited to one per guest, and excludes limited-time doughnuts, seasonal doughnuts and Original Glazed cinnamon rolls.
Krispy Kreme is also offering a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2 with the purchase of any dozen at participating locations.
Dunkin’: Guests can get a free donut of their choice with any beverage purchase at participating Dunkin’ locations on June 5, while supplies last, according to the company’s newsroom. Dunkin’ said this is the 16th year in a row for its National Donut Day free donut offer.
7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes: 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can buy classic glazed donuts for 50 cents each on June 5 at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores nationwide, 7-Eleven said. The company said there is no limit on the number of 50-cent glazed donuts customers can buy. 7-Select Mini Donut packs are also available for $1 during a promotion running through June 23.
Shipley Do-Nuts: Shipley is giving guests one free classic glazed donut with any purchase every Friday in June, including June 5. The offer is limited to one free donut per person per valid Friday, while supplies last, at participating locations. Online customers must use code DONUTMONTH26.
Duck Donuts: Duck Donuts’ homepage was advertising a free classic donut offer. WRAL’s Smart Shopper roundup reported that Duck Donuts is offering a free classic donut on June 5 with no purchase necessary, in shop only at participating locations, plus six classic donuts for $6.
Krispy Kreme’s free doughnut offer does not require a purchase, though it is limited to one per guest and must be redeemed in shop or through the drive-thru.
Duck Donuts’ free classic donut offer was also listed as no purchase necessary by WRAL, with the important caveat that it is valid in shop only at participating locations.
Dunkin’ requires a beverage purchase for the free donut.
Shipley Do-Nuts requires any purchase for its free classic glazed donut.
7-Eleven’s 50-cent glazed donut deal requires 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards membership and is valid at participating stores.
Krispy Kreme’s $2 Original Glazed dozen requires the purchase of another dozen at regular price.
Most National Donut Day offers are tied to participating stores and are available while supplies last. Franchise locations, airport stores, delivery platforms and app orders can have different rules, so check the chain’s app, store locator or local shop before making a special trip.

This is especially important for limited quantities, early-morning runs and shops inside travel venues, casinos, campuses or other nontraditional locations.
National Donut Day is observed on the first Friday in June. The Salvation Army says the first National Donut Day was celebrated in Chicago in 1938 to honor the World War I “Donut Lassies,” volunteers who served doughnuts to soldiers near the front lines.
Offers can sell out, local participation can vary and some stores may adjust availability during the day. Readers looking for a specific deal should check the chain’s official app or call the store before heading out.
