First Street Dark Chocolate Raisins in 9-ounce clear plastic containers are being recalled because they may contain undeclared peanuts. Consumers with peanut allergies should check UPC 7-97565-01183-0 and lot 260562 and return affected containers for a refund.

Western Mixers Produce & Nuts is recalling First Street Dark Chocolate Raisins because some 9-ounce containers may contain undeclared dark chocolate peanuts. Consumers who have a peanut allergy or severe sensitivity should not eat the recalled product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund, according to the company announcement posted by the FDA.
The company announcement was dated June 15, 2026, and the FDA listed the recall content as current as of June 16, 2026.
The recall notice identifies First Street brand Dark Chocolate Raisins sold in 9-ounce (255g) clear plastic containers.
The FDA-posted notice did not list a sell-by or best-by date. Consumers should compare the brand, product name, package size, UPC and lot code before deciding whether a container is part of the recall.
The company said the product may contain dark chocolate peanuts that are not declared on the label. Peanuts are a major allergen, and people with a peanut allergy or severe sensitivity could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the product.
The notice said no illnesses had been reported to date. Western Mixers said it is recalling the affected product as a precaution.
The FDA-posted notice said the product was distributed to Chedraui USA and sold at Smart & Final stores in California.
The recall notice identifies Smart & Final stores in California. It does not list additional retailers, states or online sales. Shoppers who bought First Street Dark Chocolate Raisins from another source should still check the UPC and lot code and contact the retailer or Western Mixers if the package appears to match the recalled product.
Consumers with a peanut allergy should not taste or eat the recalled raisins. The company said affected product should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
FoodSafety.gov advises that food recalls are specific, so product details should match the recall notice. For undeclared allergen recalls, if the product has been served in a household with someone allergic to that ingredient, FoodSafety.gov recommends washing with soap and water any plates, pots, pans, utensils, counters or other surfaces that may have contacted the food.
Customers with questions can contact Western Mixers Produce & Nuts’ Food Safety Department at 323-443-2567.
