The Senate passed S. 2 in a 52-47 vote, advancing roughly $70 billion for ICE, Border Patrol and related immigration enforcement operations. The bill is not law yet and must still pass the House before it can go to President Donald Trump.

The Senate passed a roughly $70 billion ICE and Border Patrol funding bill after failed votes to limit a Trump-linked settlement fund. The measure now moves to the House, so it is not yet law.

The House passed the Ukraine Support Act in a 226-195 vote, combining Ukraine aid, defense loans and new Russia sanctions. The measure still must pass the Senate and be signed by President Donald Trump before becoming law.
